Illinois Man Being Held After Involvement in Deadly Crash

It’s always a tragedy when a life is unexpectedly taken in a fatal motor vehicle accident. While all deadly crashes are terrible for the family members of the victim it can be much worse when the accident is caused due to negligence or reckless driving. Those who lose a loved one in this type of crash often can’t help but feel terrible grief and anger because of the situation surrounding the circumstances. If you have lost a loved one in a motor vehicle accident then you should contact a wrongful death lawyer as soon as you can.

Two young people were killed recently when the car they were riding in was involved in a serious accident. According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle was a 22-year-old man who was not seriously injured in the crash. The vehicle in which they were all traveling had been reported as stolen. According to authorities, the man who was driving the vehicle was allegedly trying to elude an officer who reportedly noticed the vehicle speeding. The vehicle in question eventually slammed into a utility pole and a tree.

According to medical officials, one of the two passengers died at the scene, while the other one died shortly after. Authorities have not released the names of the two victims. Investigators are still looking into the crash and the officers did arrest the driver. At the time of this report no charges had been filed. If he is charged his identity will then be released.

Many times those who lose a loved one are hesitant to file a claim or lawsuit because of the image it might portray. Some people might even call those who file a suit greedy for trying to get money. However, just because someone files a lawsuit, it does not mean he or she is just out to get money. For many families the money they receive can be vital to their recovery and survival, especially when the person who died was their primary source of income.

Even if the deceased person is a child, the funeral and burial expenses can be costly. In addition, those who lose a loved one also suffer other things like loss of companionship or loss of enjoyment of life. If you lose a loved one in an accident then you need to contact the Law Office of Brassfield & Krueger in Rockford Illinois. Call us at 815-315-9845 or contact us online.
